Close Knit Charity Tree 2013

In November 2013 we will create and display a tree of donated hand knit hats and mittens in the center hall of St. Joseph's hospital. All items will be given to children and families involved with the foster care system and homeless in Paterson.

Here are the rules:
- Beginning January 2nd, donate handmade GREEN or BLUE HATS OR MITTENS
(child or adult) each month until November.
- For every HAT or PAIR OF MITTENS donated in shades of green or blue, you will be entered into a drawing for a yet-to-be-deteremined prize (prizes will change each month.)
- At the end of the year, the eleven winners will receive one discount sale day,
in addition to the prizes they have won throughout the year.

- The more items you donate, the more chances you'll have to win.
- Items must be SOFT! You do not have to use yarn from Close Knit, but please, choose yarn that is nice to wear (and washable.)
We recommend: Vintage, Vintage Chunky, Comfort, Comfort Chunky,
 or Cascade 220 Superwash.

- You may embellish any way you like. The free CK patterns we recommend are the Warf Cap and Two Needle Mittens.
